Tesco iPhone App Gets Barcode Scanning
![]() |
Tesco launched an iPhone app two months ago which enables customers to shop on their iPhone wherever they are.
The application has now been updated to include barcode scanning capability. If you've got an item at home you can scan it using your iPhone and it will automatically be added to your shopping list.
The idea is neat because if your in the kitchen and you realize your running low on something you can scan it then so you don't forget it. Additionally, you can easily scan something you might have liked over a friends or relatives house and have it added to your list.
The idea is very convenient and saves you time crawling through the website.
The application has many excellent features and enables you to search for products, set and browse "favourites", browse by shelf or departments, display nutritional product information and to seamlessly integrate with your mobile grocery shopping on your computer.
