Samsung Wave II Confirmed
![]() |
Samsung have confirmed the imminent release of the Samsung Wave II (S8530).
The successor to the Samsung Wave will run on Samsung Bada 1.2, which is Samsung's own custom operating system.
The Samsung Wave II will have a Social Hub which will enable users to view phonebook, social-network sites, and instant messenger and email contacts in one combined list.
Quicktype by t9 trace has been added to the mobile which enables you to type faster and easier than standard texting methods. It works by users tracing their fingers in a continuous motion over the letters of a word and the mobile will determine what you want to type.
The Samsung Wave II will be launching in November in France and will be rolled out to all other countries gradually. The cost is likely to be around the £370 mark, which suggests it'll have a great specification.
Once we hear more details about the Wave II you'll be the first to know.
