Samsung Galaxy Tab Launching In November
![]() |
Samsung has announced that its Samsung Galaxy Tablet will be hitting the UK on November 1st.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is aiming to compete with the Apple iPad and will be available on all major networks. It will also be hitting high-street stores with the CarePhone Warehouse and Dixons Group’s stores confirmed as sellers.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a 7 inch screen, which is 2.7 inches smaller than the one found on the iPad. It runs on the Android operating system (version 2.2) and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. It also features two cameras, one rear facing and one front facing, and supports both Wi-Fi and 3G.
The price wasn’t announced, so we’ll have to wait and see how competitively it’s priced when compared to its rival.
