Palm Confirm Palm Pre 2

Palm have officially confirmed the Palm Pre 2 and as expected it will run on the webOS 2.0 operating system. The successor to the hugely popular Palm Pre will benefit from the advantages the new operating system will bring.
The first of which is improved multi-tasking which will manage the running of apps by tasks which means it won't run tasks your not running which will improve efficiency. Additionally, all your contacts will now be displayed in a unified list whether they come from Facebook, Email or your general contact list. Another addition is support for Adobe Flash 10.1 which will bring the full browser experience to your mobile.
The specification of the Palm Pre 2 includes a 3.1 inch touch-screen, 1 GHz processor , a 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 16GB of onboard memory and both Bluetooth and WiFi support.
No official UK release date has been confirmed but it'll be in the next few months. Once we hear more we'll let you know.
