ZTE Unveil World's Smallest 4G Dongle

By Simon Thomas on 29th November 2012

ZTE have unveiled a the world's smallest 4G dongle which will be available to buy across Europe very soon.

The ZTE MF823 uses Qualcomm's second generation 4G chip platform which enables it to be just 13mm thick. That makes the MF823 only a third of the size of the first generation model and earns it the title of world's smallest 4G dongle.

ZTE have also managed to greatly reduce power consumption with the MF823 which now uses just a third of the power of their previous 4G dongle. Additionally, it has the lowest working temperature in the industry ensuring that it never overheats.

The most important thing when it comes to 4G LTE dongles is the speed and connectivity they offer. The ZTE MF823 doesn't disappoint because it's been fully optimised to offer high-bandwidth, low delay and high communication rate. The end result is that you can enjoy uninterrupted super-fast 4G broadband  on the move !

Supported connectivity includes LTE-FDD DL/UL 100/50Mbps, UMTS-HSPA+: DL/UL 42/5.76Mbps and GPRS/GSM. While, ZTE's dongle also has driver-free capabilities and is compatible with Windows 8/XP and Mac.

We presume that the ZTE MF823 will be coming to EE and as soon as 3G get confirmation you'll be the first to know !
