Virgin Media Unveil New Unlimited Data Pay As You Go Tariff !

Virgin Media have unveiled a couple of new Pay As You Go deals which offer great value without the commitment of a 24 month contract.
The first deal called "Big Data and Texts" gives you unlimited mobile data and 300 texts if you top-up £10. While, topping up an extra £5 gets you unlimited texts and unlimited data. This is a great deal for those browse a lot on their smartphone because you no longer have to worry about exceeding your data allowance.
The second new tariff called "Big Talk" is aimed those who value voice calls over data. Topping up £10 a month gets you unlimited calls to landlines and 120 anytime any-network minutes, while you can add unlimited texts by topping up £15.
Both deals offer a good alternative to signing up to a costly and lengthy mobile contract and they become particularly appealing when you come to the end of your contract.
In the last year we've seen a rise in 18 month contract terms and we wonder whether consumers are fed-up with 24 month contracts. We'd love to see 12 and 18 month contracts being the standard contract terms because 24 months is just too long to keep the same smartphone.
Until then SIM-only deals and Pay As You Go are the only real options for those looking to avoid 2 year commitements . Virgin Media's Pay As You Go deals are as good as any we've seen and come recommended !
