The uSwitch Mobile Awards 2012 took place last night and the big winners were the operators Tesco Mobile and Three. While, Samsung and Apple also both scooped a couple of awards.
Tesco Mobile won 5 uSwitch awards which is particularly impressive considering that only 13 awards were given out in total. The awards won by Tesco were "Best Network Coverage", "Best Customer Support", "Best Customer Benefits", "Best PayG Value For Money" and "Best Pay Monthly Value For Money".
Meanwhile, Three won 3 awards including "Best Network" for the second year in a row. Additionally, they also scooped the "StreetStats 3G Fastest Network" award and the "Best For Roaming" title. The "Best Highstreet Retailer" award was won by Carphone Warehouse, while the "Best Online Retailer" was awarded to Phones 4U.
As you'd expect Apple and Samsung both scooped awards with the iPhone 5 winning "Best Design" and "Most Easy To Use" awards. While, Samsung won the coveted "Best Manufacturer" and "Best Use Of Android" awards thanks to its amazing range of Android devices including the Galaxy SIII and Note 2.
