O2 have unveiled the full range of Windows Phone 8 they'll be stocking when the platform lands tomorrow. Although interestingly O2 still have them listed on their "Coming Soon" page, so could they be delayed on the network ?
Either way O2 will have a nice selection of Windows Phone 8 smartphones available including the Samsung Ativ S , which is exclusive to the operator. The other smartphones that will be available are the Windows Phone 8X by HTC, Windows Phone 8S by HTC and the Nokia Lumia 820.
HTC's Windows Phone 8S is the most affordable of the smartphones and will be available free on contracts starting at £21.50 a month. Sadly O2 havn't given any details on what you'll get for your money, but as soon as we hear more we'll let you know.
The other three smartphones are all available for £36 a month which we can't help feeling is a little much for the Nokia Lumia 820. If it was the premium Lumia 920 then we'd understand, but that's exclusive to EE for the fore-seeable future.
The Samsung Ativ S and Windows Phone 8X are premium smartphones so O2's pricing seems more reasonable. We at 3G have already reviewed the Windows Phone 8X where it scored very highly and we hope to review all the other Windows smartphones very soon !
