Earlier today we brought you news of the ZTE Apache which will rival Samsung's Galaxy S4 and now we've heard rumours about the LG Optimus G2. The Optimus G2 will launch in the first half of next year and is another rival to Samsung's smartphone.
The LG Optimus G2 has been leaked by Korean sources, speaking to MKNews, and the first thing to report is that it'll run on Android Key Lime Pie. That doesn't come as a major surprise as we expect all next-gen Android smartphones to run on the upcoming version of Android.
So what more do we know about LG's Optimus G2 ? Well, firstly it's rumoured to have a 5 inch touch-screen display that is 1.5 times clearer than the iPhone 5's Retina display. By our calculations that means it'll have a PPI of 440 and a resolution of 1920*1080 pixels.
Both the Galaxy S4 and ZTE Apache are expected to feature 8-core processors, but it looks like the Optimus G2 will stick to a quad-core chip. However , it will be a 2 GHz chipset which should offer excellent performance without overly stressing the battery.
Sadly, that's all the details we have about the smartphone at the current time but we're sure it'll support 4G and will have a camera of at least 10 mega-pixels. As soon as we hear more about the LG Optimus G2 you'll be the first to know !
