Huawei have unveiled the Ascend G330, which is an affordable Android smartphone that will be available to buy in the UK next month. The new mobile sits above Huawei's Ascend G300 in the range and therefore has a slightly better specification.
The Huawei Ascend G330, which will be available from Talk Talk, has a 4 inch touch-screen running at a resolution of 800*480 pixels. While, the smartphone is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor and has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of onboard memory.
Huawei's smartphone also comes with a rear-facing 5 mega-pixel camera and a front-facing VGA snapper for video calling. While supported connectivity includes HSDPA, WiFi and Bluetooth , but sadly not 4G.
Android Ice Cream Sandwich comes pre-loaded on the Ascend G330 and the operating system has been overlaid with Huawei's HAP 5.1 user-interface. A number of applications come pre-loaded including BBC iPlayer, Skype and a couple of EA Games.
So far we've only got confirmation that the smartphone will be available from TalkTalk where it'll be offered on contracts starting at just £10 a month, As soon as 3G get any news regarding other operators stocking the device or an exact launch date you'll be the first to know.
