The Google Nexus 4 sold out almost immediately after it went on sale earlier this month. Ever since it's been out of stock, but in the US it's now finally available to buy again from Google Play.
That's great news for those in the US, but sadly there still isn't any stock available in the UK. Even more worryingly Google havn't given any indication on when stock of the smartphone will return which is disappointing , especially to those looking to buy the Nexus 4 as a Christmas gift.
We're not even sure why Google is having stock issues with the smartphone, but the most likely reason is that the demand for the mobile has been higher than expected. Although, they must have known that the pricing model they adopted would lead to huge demand !
We've also heard rumours that Google made a last minute decision to include a 4G chip in the Nexus 4 even though it doesn't support the network. Apparently, this was decided to save redesigning the smartphone when they do release a 4G version and this decision meant that initial production was delayed.
Whatever the case we hope the Nexus 4 becomes available to buy in the UK very soon because when it comes to value it's unparalleled. For just £239 you get a quad-core smartphone with a 4.7 inch HD touch-screen and an 8 mega-pixel camera.
3G will be reviewing the Google Nexus 4 very soon so keep posted to get the full lowdown on the smartphone.
