Three have unveiled that anyone who buys the Windows Phone 8X by HTC on their network will get a free Windows 8 Pro update for their desktop PC.
This new deal is the latest in Three's range of offers aimed at keeping people cheerful over the Christmas period. The update normally costs £49.99, but it'll come bundled with HTC's smartphone on Three. Although you will need to already have Vista installed to be able to use the Windows 8 Pro upgrade.
Three are offering the Windows Phone 8X on contracts starting at just £27 a month. While the best value package looks to be the "Ultimate Internet 500" tariff which costs £30 a month and gets you 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and unlimited mobile data !

The Windows Phone 8X by HTC runs on the Windows Phone 8 platform , which adopts a very similar design to Microsoft's new desktop platform. Consequently, your smartphone will be able to communicate closely with your PC !
