BT have announced that they've now made their BT Wi-Fi application available to download on Windows smartphones.
The BT Wi-Fi application enables BT customers to access BT's WiFi hotspots in the UK and around the world. BT now have over 4 million WiFi hotspots in the UK and another 3 million across the world , which will all be accessible free to BT customers who download the application.
The Windows platform is just the latest to get the BT Wi-Fi application which is already available on Android, Blackberry and iOS devices. Infact, the application has been downloaded by over two million BT customers in the UK.
In order to connect to BT's WiFi hotspots you will need to enter your BT Wi-Fi login details. If you don't have an account fear not because you can quickly register, but you will need to be a BT Broadband customer.
Windows smartphone owners will be glad to see more applications becoming available on their platform and now we're just waiting for a Windows 8 version of the BT WiFi app to be released.
