The Nokia Lumia 920 (pictured above) and 820 are Windows Phone 8 smartphones that will launch in the UK over the next week. Both smartphones support 4G LTE and Nokia have now released a new video, which can be viewed below, explaining what you need to begin enjoying 4G LTE on your Lumia smartphone.
Basically, you need either a Lumia 920 or 820 and an operator which supports the new network. Luckily for us EE launched their 4G LTE network in 11 major cities earlier this week. You can check whether coverage is available in your city over on EE's website, but if you don't live in a major city the chances are you won't be one of the lucky ones.
Anyone lucky enough to live in any of the 11 cities can enjoy 4G LTE on the Lumia 920 and 820 when the smartphones launch. The Lumia 920 will ship tomorrow on EE, while the Lumia 820 will land on November 9th.
The Nokia Lumia 920 is Nokia's flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone and consequently it won't come cheap. EE are offering the smartphone on a contract costing £46 a month with an upfront fee of £19.99 which will get you unlimited texts, unlimited calls and 3GB of data .
Nokia's Lumia 820 is slightly more affordable and is available free from EE on a tariff costing £36 a month which gets you unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 500MB of data per month.
3G hope to review both of Nokia's Windows Phone 8 smartphones very soon so keep posted to get the lowdown on both !
