Owners of Windows Phone 7.5 smartphone have been missing out on video-calling, but that's all changed with the launch of Tango.

Tango is a video-calling application that is now available to download on Windows smartphones. The company themselves are branding the application as an alternative to Skype.

With video-calling seeing a revival we're sure that owners of the select few Windows smartphones with a front-facing camera will be happy to see it supported on the platform. Mango mobiles with a front-facing camera include the HTC Radar and Titan.

You can use the rear-facing camera to make video-calls using Tango, but its not the same when you can't see the person your calling.

Tango will automatically scan your contact-list to show you the people who have the Tango application installed, while you can invite people who don't have it to download the application.

Skype is expected to launch for Windows Phone 7.5 shortly, so Tango will be hoping to make the most of the time when they offer exclusive video-calling. As 3G always say competition drives down prices and increases product quality, so we encourage new applications and services !
