Three Transmitting Over 100 Terabytes Per Day
![]() |
Three have announced that they are transmitting 137 terabytes of data across its network every day. That includes the traffic from its mobile broadband customers, as well as all of its smartphones owners.
We're not surprised to see such a high figure because Three offer unlimited data on its "One Plan" smartphone tariff and have a huge number of mobile broadband customers.
Three have long been mobile broadband pioneers and have released innovations , such as MiFi and premium dongles, and they continue to set the standard to this day. However, they've now begun pushing hard to gain smartphone market share.
It seems that Three's efforts have payed off because 60 per cent of their customers are now smartphone owners, which is up from 30 per cent last year. Three also expect this to go up to 90 per cent when customers upgrade to the latest smartphones !
3G really loves the One Plan on Three which is available on all of their smartphones and offers you 2,000 minutes, 5,000 texts and unlimited mobile data. When you combine great deals with great mobiles you're going to be successful.
