Nokia has announced that the Symbian Belle update will be made available for the Nokia N8 and Nokia E7.

Nokia have now launched their Windows Phone 7 smartphones, which effectively killed off the Symbian platform. However, Nokia havn't forgotten about all the people who bought a Symbian smartphone and is continuing to improve the operating system.

Nokia Symbian Belle is already available on the Nokia 700 and 701 and is coming soon to the Nokia E7, E6 and 500 smartphones.

Symbian Belle brings a number of improvements including a whole redesigned user-interface that is both faster, smoother and easier to use. You also get re-sizable home-screen widgets , more home-screens , better web-browsing and NFC support.

Nokia is expecting to launch the Symbian Belle update for the Nokia N8 and E7 before the end of the year. Once 3G hears anymore we'll let you know !
