Samsung have seen huge success with the Samsung Galaxy SII , but that hasn't made them forget about the original Samsung Galaxy S smartphone. Infact, they've now released Android 2.3.5 for the original Galaxy S.
The Android 2.3.5 update brings a number of improvements and bug fixes to the Samsung Galaxy S. They include improved battery life, new camera enhancements, general performance improvements and fixes a bug where the home-screen hangs.
When upgrading 3G highly recommends backing up your data and apps because there are rumours circulating that the 2.3.5 upgrade will wipe your information. Furthermore, when downloading the upgrade we suggest you use WiFi, so you don't incur data charges.
The original Galaxy S seemed like it launched way back in the middle of 2010, which seems like an eternity ago. Infact, when it launched it was running on Android 2.1 which just amplifies the point.
The Samsung Galaxy S was the start of something great for Samsung which has led to them selling the most smartphones of any manufacturer in the 3rd Quarter of 2011. With the Samsung Galaxy Nexus launching soon there success looks set to continue.
