The Samsung Galaxy Note was expected to launch on November 4th on O2, but that date has been and gone.

Now the hybrid device has now appeared on O2's Coming Soon page. We're still not sure when the Galaxy Note will actually launch but we hope it isnt too far away.

For those who havn't read about the Galaxy Note its a hybrid device that sits somewhere between a smartphone and a tablet. The touch-screen comes in at a massive 5.3 inches and runs at a resolution of 1280*800 pixels ! Interestingly, it runs on Android 2.3 which is the smartphone version of Google's operating system.

However, the power of the Galaxy Note is closer to tablet performance because it has a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8 mega-pixel camera. It'll be available in a choice of either 16 or 32GB of onboard memory.
