PS Vita To Use Vodafone 3G Network

Sony have announced that they will be partnering with Vodafone for the launch of their PS Vita portable gaming console.
Infact, Vodafone will be selling the Vita on its website where it'll come with a Vodafone Sim-card which will enable you to play games online. If you buy the Vita from Vodafone you'll also get a free version of Wipeout 2048 , which is a super-fast futuristic racing game.
The PS Vita is the next evolution in portable gaming and succeeds the PSP. It comes with a 5 inch touch-screen , a quad-core processor and front and rear facing cameras.
Sony is claiming that over 80 games are already in production for the PS Vita , which is due to launch in the UK in February. The 3G version of the Vita will cost around £275, but the UK price has yet to be officially confirmed.
One thing we should make clear is that you will be able to use other networks SIM-cards in the PS Vita. Whether the version Vodafone ship will be locked to their network remains to be seen, but we wouldn't expect it to be.
