For a long time we've believed that the Blackberry Colt would be the first smartphone to launch on Blackberry's BBX operating system. However, we've now heard information suggesting that the Blackberry London will be the first BBX mobile.
BBX is a new version of Blackberry's operating system that combines the best of Blackberry OS 7 and QNX.
The Blackberry London is a high-end smartphone that is expected to launch around the middle of 2012. The leaked photos show a stunning device that is rumoured to be thinner than an iPhone 4S without sacrificing on build-quality.
The specification of the Blackberry London is rumoured to include a 1.5 Ghz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of on-board memory and an 8 mega-pixel camera. It'll also have a 2 mega-pixel front-facing camera and will support NFC.
The information from the original leak from the Verge has since been validated by BGR who suggest the London will replace the Colt and will launch in 2012 !
