Blackberry Launch BBM Music !
Blackberry, Blackberry BBM Music
Blackberry have launched their BBM Music service in Canada, the US and Australia with more countries to follow shortly.
The new premium music service combines music streaming with social networking to offer you a cheap way to get access to millions of music tracks.
A premium subscription to BBM Music costs just $4.99 (£3) and initially gets you access to 50 tracks. However, this is where the social networking takes effect because if you add a friend you get access to all their music meaning that in theory you can gain access to millions of tracks.
We think that the service is great for those people who love to discover new music and 3G is really a fan of the idea. A number of other social networking feature back-up the music sharing include access to real-time BBM chat inside the BBM Music application.
You can also comment on friends music, build playlists and get all the latest updates from BBM Music can be delivered straight to your home-page. You can also save your music to your mobile for offline access or export it to a microSD card.
We hope that BBM Music gets the success that the concept deserves because it really is a fun and novel application. Once 3G hears anymore about the launch of BBM Music in the UK, which shouldn't be far away, we'll let you know.
