Apple have released an update for iOS 5 which fixes the battery problems that have plagued the iPhone 4S.
Apple iOS 5.0.1 apparently fixes the problem, but Apple haven't included any information on what caused the problem in the first place. The most common view is that it was caused by the location services constantly running, which uses WiFi and GPS in order to set your current time-zone.
Many unhappy users were claiming their iPhone battery was going from charge to zero in half a day, which is obviously unacceptable. 3G think Apple have done well to keep this problem out of the headlines , unlike the antenna problem when the iPhone 4 launched.
The iOS 5.0.1 update also includes a fix which helps correct a problem some users have had with syncing documents to their iOS 5 powered devices.
The iOS 5.0.1 update should be available right now , so you should go to Settings > General and Software update on your iPhone.
