Three have announced that out of all the data use on its network only 3 per cent comes from calls. That means a whopping 97 per cent of data comes from mobile data which is a staggering figure. They've also announced that in the last 14 months they've seen a 600 per cent increase in data traffic.

Three were pioneers in mobile broadband and really drove its initial success and they are still pioneering these days with MiFi and the One Plan, which was the first tariff to offer unlimited mobile data.
