With Apple still fumbling around producing a White version of its iPhone, Samsung have announced the UK launch of the white version of its Samsung Galaxy S.

The White version is now available to buy from the Carphone Warehouse where it's available free on a £30 per month deal. 

Seeing as there is still no news about the White iPhone 4 , those looking for a great smartphone in White could do much worse than the Samsung Galaxy S. Our review of the Samsung Galaxy S gave the device 5 stars and concluded that " With its fantastic list of features the Android 2.1 driven the Samsung Galaxy S achieves near perfection."

Since the time of review the Galaxy S has got even better because now its been upgraded to Android 2.2, which brings it right up to date.

In terms of specification the Samsung Galaxy S has a  4 inch touch-screen, 5 mega-pixel camera, 1 GHZ Snapdragon processor, 16GB of on-board memory and full Wi-Fi and 3G support.
