Tesco has opened a phone store which is not located within one of its supermarkets but is a stand alone unit. The new store is located next to the Tesco Metro in Bristol.

It offers all the usual Tesco Mobile handsets on contract and Pay As You Go. Tesco say that this happened as the unit next door was empty and was a convenient way to offer mobile phones to its customers. Mobile News reported this is not the start of a new Tesco campaign to open phone stores nationwide.
