SkyFire For iPhone Updated
![]() |
The already hugely popular web-browser Skyfire has been updated for the iPhone.
Skyfire enables iPhone users to view Flash content on their mobile, which isn't supported by Apple's Safari browser. It works by first sending the pages to Skyfire's servers and then translating the Flash code into HTML5.
The new version includes a number of improvements including the ability to share pages to Twitter, Tumblr and more. It also includes improved video coverage, so you can watch even more of the web on your iPhone.
A new gesture has been added to open a new tab by using a touch-and-hold gesture. A Twitter Quickview has also been added which enables you to view a Twitter feed while you browse. A number of bug fixes have also been included , as well as improved cookie support.
The Skyfire browser can be downloaded from the App Store for just £1.79 by clicking here. Those who've already paid can download the new update free.
