Skyfire for iPhone Sold Out
![]() |
We posted an article yesterday to confirm that Skyfire was bringing flash support to the iPhone. This article can be viewed here.
After only a few hours of the Skyfire for iPhonegoing live, the demand far exceeded what Skyfire had predicted. What happened next was that as the demand increased the Skyfire servers could not cope with the increasing surge and this resulted in a degradation of video quality.
Skyfire have confirmed they are currently "‘sold out' and will temporarily not accept new purchases from the App Store" for its Skyfire for iPhone App .
They are working hard to resolve the server and bandwidth issues. As soon as we hear that everything is back to normal we will be sure to post it here.
