The Palm Pre 2 is now available to buy direct from Palm in the UK for £399.

The new mobile is the successor to the Palm Pre, which achieved huge success in the US but was a spectacular failure in the UK.  We assume this is the reason that no operators have agreed to sell the Palm Pre 2 , so the only place you can obtain one is direct from Palm.

The Palm Pre 2 is basically an updated version of the Palm Pre which has a faster 1 Ghz processor, a 5 mega-pixel camera with flash and a flatter stronger touch-screen. It also runs on the new webOS 2.0 operating system, which brings a number of enhancements including Adobe Flash 10.1 support and improved multi-tasking.
