Orange has announced that they are now offering Mobile Wi-Fi.

Mobile Wi-Fi enables you to share your mobile broadband connection with up to five devices and is a service that originally launched on 3 last year.

With Mobile Wi-Fi you can take one mobile broadband dongle and use it to provide internet for your mobile, laptop, iPad, iPod or any other Wi-Fi capable device. You can also use it to share your connection with your friends.

The service is made possible by the use of the Novatel Wireless 3352 Mobile WiFi device (pictured above), which enables you to setup a network with the touch of a button.

Mobile WiFi is available on both the Racoon and Dolphin Tariffs.

On the 1 month Racoon tariff , which offers you 500MB of anytime data for £5 a month for existing Orange customers (£10 otherwise) , you have to pay £85 up-front for the device. However, its just £59 if you take a 12 month contract.

The dolphin contract gives you 1GB of data for just £10 a month for existing customers and the router will cost £75 on a 1 month deal or £59 on a 12 month deal. You can also add unlimited Wi-Fi which increases the monthly cost to £15 a month but reduces the router cost to £49 on a 12 month deal.
