Opera Mobile 10.1 is now out of beta and available for download for Symbian mobiles.

The new browser offers significantly faster Javascript performance thanks to just-in-time optimization to the Carakan Javascript Engine,which also powers the desktop version of Opera.  Speed trials have shown that Opera Mobile 10.1 is nine timers faster than the previous version of the Sunspider Javascript test.

Geolocation support has been added to the browser which enables web-services such as maps to recogonize your location to provide with relevant content. For those wondering about privacy you have to authorize location sharing, so there is no need to worry.

One of the best things about Opera Mobile is that before you see any web-pages they are sent to Opera's servers to be compressed. This means that everything loads faster and you use less of your monthly data allowance.

Other great features of Opera Mobile 10.1 include Speed Dial, Tabbed Browsing and a Password Manager.
