New Version Of Ovi Maps Appears On Symbian
Nokia has released a new version of Ovi Maps for its newest operating system , Symbian^3.
A number of improvements have been added to already brilliant free voice-guided satellite navigation software.
Pinch-to-Zoom support has been added to all Symbian^3 devices, which currently includes the Nokia N8 and the Nokia C7. The search has been improved and will now suggest things relevant and ask if you meant to type something else if you made a mistake typing.
Public transport lines have been added as a new layer which will you show the railways, subways and trams in the area. It's also got improves social features including the ability to share a place via SMS or Email, the ability to check-in on your social networks and improvements to the place pages.
