Amazon has announced that its Kindle software will become available for Windows Phone 7 devices very soon.

The e-book software enables users to access over 725,000 books on their smartphone and can then be read anywhere !

The application also features  Whispersync technology which enables you to carry on reading where you left off on another device.This is possible because you can buy books once and they can be read on any device, which is a fabulous proposition.

The application has now been improved because you can shop without leaving the app and send an email to a friend from within the app. You will also receive recommendations based on the books you've read.

The interface has been improved and you can now choose from five different font sizes and three background colours and you can tap either side of your screen to turn pages.

The Amazon Kindle application for Windows Phone 7 will be appearing in the Windows marketplace very soon.
