The latest monthly index survey from Mobclix reveals some interesting facts into the habits of Android users. Mobclix surveyed over 1,000 Android users last month and the findings are below. The survey also featured in Fortune magazine.
The survey revealed that over 60% of Google Android users are under the age of 34, have an average of 17 apps on their smartphone ( iPhone users have 28 ) and prefer a touch screen to a keyboard.
Further, it was confirmed by Mobclix that 45% of Android users say it was their first smartphone, users spend most of their time on Email (37%), Games (21%) and Maps/Navigation (8%) and Android users spend 1/7th of what iPhone owners spend on in-app gaming purchases. The top three games within the survey were Angry Birds, Solitaire and Jewels.
