The BlackBerry iPlayer App is now available for a number of BlackBerry smartphones. The iPhone iPlayer App has been available for some time and now BlackBerry owners can enjoy the huge iPlayer collection of TV and radio programmes.

The BlackBerry iPlayer App is compatible with any BlackBerry smartphones which have OS 5.0 or later. This means that the BlackBerry Bold 9700, Torch 9800 and Storm handsets will work.

The best way to access the BBC's content is via Wi-Fi but two operators in the UK are setup for 3G to work. These are Vodafone and Three.
