The first images of the upcoming HTC One Mini 2 have been leaked online by the ever-reliable EVLeaks.
The HTC One Mini 2 is a smaller version of the flagship HTC One M8 that adopts the same unibody aluminium design and will be available in the same colour range as its bigger brother (Metal Grey, Arctic Silver and Amber Gold).
Details on the specification of smartphone remain scarce, but it's thought to have a display between 4.2 and 4.5-inches. We've got our fingers crossed it'll run at a 1080p resolution, as opposed to the scaled-down 720p displays often included in compact smartphones.
One thing that does look set to be sacrificed is the HTC One M8's dual-Ultrapixel camera which will apparently be replaced with a 13 mega-pixel snapper. Power will also be toned down with a Snapdragon 400 processor set to be included, as opposed to the Snapdragon 801 processor in its bigger brother.
Our exclusive sources told us back in March that the mini version of the HTC One M8 would touchdown in May and we're assured that's still the case. Not long to wait now for the HTC One Mini 2!
