The HTC One Mini 2 has gone official and it looks to be every bit the handset we were expecting. With just a few weeks left till launch now’s the time to start thinking about which network to get it on and Three is well worth considering.
Three is the only UK network to offer unlimited 4G (not including MVNO’s) and it doesn’t even charge any more for 4G than 3G, so it’s great value and ideal for anyone who wants a lot of data.
The network hasn’t yet confirmed what price it will charge for the HTC One Mini 2, but it’s likely to be one of the more affordable networks to get it on when it launches next month.
Whichever network you get it on it looks like a pretty great phone and Three has shown off some of its key features in a new video. Say cheese and check it out below.
As you can see the HTC One Mini 2 has a glorious build that’s almost the equal of the HTC One M8. Plus it has a 4.5 inch 720p display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and a microSD card slot.
Three obviously thinks the camera is big deal and while we’re not totally convinced by the 13 megapixel main camera we’re certainly fans of the 5 megapixel front facing snapper, which makes selfies look better than ever and includes all sorts of effects, along with modes such as HDR, a countdown timer which gives you time to pose before the photo is taken and even a ‘Makeup Level’ option which essentially improves your skin tone and removes imperfections.
Rounding out the package, the HTC One Mini 2 has the same impressive BoomSound speakers as the HTC One M8, it runs Android KitKat and the latest version of Sense for a slick, attractive interface and it comes with HTC’s famous BlinkFeed, which makes it easy to keep track of news, entertainment and social network updates all from one screen.
