The British Goverment have been on a drive to reduce the amount of paper use and wastage in Parliament and the latest move is to issue MPs with Apple iPad's.
All of the 650 members of Parliament will be getting Apple iPad's including the Prime Minister David Cameron and his partner in crime Nick Clegg.
Obviously, this means the taxpayer is now paying for them to have state of the art technology and 3G wonders whether we could have bought them Blackberry Playbooks instead to save money. However, it should be stated that only 350 of the MPs will be allowed to keep their tablets but the cost to the taxpayer is still predicted to be around £300,000.
We wonder Apple will be happy for members of parliament to brand their devices and can think of some cooler figures to carry around Apple's all conquering tablet !
