Google Android is going from strength to strength as it breaks through the 100 million barrier of Android users. In addition, there are over 400K Android devices being activated a day.

3G learnt of this via the recent 4th Google I/O in San Franciso. Google seems buoyant in its pursuit of Apple, and of course, Apple itself announced that it had sold over 100 million iPhones only 2 months ago.

Android Market now boasts over 200K apps to choose from and two new services were also announced. These are a movie rentals store and a new cloud-based music storage and streaming service.
