Blackbery have announced a brand new smartphone in its Blackberry Bold range. The Blackberry Bold 9930 (9300 in the US) is a power-packed smartphone that runs on the Blackberry 7 operating system.

Like the vast majority of Blackberry smartphones the 9930 has a fantastic QWERTY keyboard. The mobile is made from the highest quality components with a brushed stainless steel frame and a high-gloss weave backplate.  Appearance and style seems to be more important than ever  before with the Bold 9930 which has led to it being the thinnest Blackberry smartphone ever.

The Blackberry Bold 9930 also features a Liquid Graphics 2.8 inch touch-screen which gives a rich and immersive experience that's responsive to touch.  The smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and has an impressive 768MB of RAM and 8GB of onboard memory.

The latest technology will be supported on the Blackberry Bold 9930 with NFC being present which enables you to use your mobile to pay for items and read information from NFC tags. Additionally, the mobile has a built-in compass to enable "augmented reality" to be taken advantage and it comes pre-loaded with Augmented reality application Wikitude.

With your Bold 9930 you will also be able to record 720HP video thanks to the 5 mega-pixel camera. Other noticeable features include built-in GPS, microSD support up to 32GB and support for both 3G and WiFi. Another new addition is the support of 4G networks, but this is currently limited to the US model (9300).

The smartphone also features the latest Blackberry Operating system which has a number of key benefits over previous versions. The user-interface has been improved and made faster , while the Universal search has also been improved. Blackberry Balance also comes on the mobile which makes it easy to separate personal and work content. The browser has also been reinvented on Blackberry 7 making it faster and more efficient,  while you also get the full edition of Docs To Go so you can easily edit Word, Excel and Powerpoint files on your smartphone.

The Blackberry Bold 9930 will be launching across the world this summer.
