Nokia Sue Apple For Patent Infringement
![]() |
Nokia have announced a new development in its long running battle with Apple.
The Finnish giant will be suing Apple for infringing on five of its patents. The breach of patent law is related to the iPhone and the iPad and will no doubt end in a counter-move from Apple.
The last time Nokia tried to claim Apple had infringed on one its patent Apple fought back by suing Nokia over one its patents. The whole thing is a game of cat and mouse between two of the most important technology companies in the world.
The patents which Nokia says Apple have infringed include technology for enhance speech and data transmission, using positioning data in applications, innovations in antenna configurations that improve performance and save space.
We tend to think that Nokia could sue the whole mobile market for infrining on these patents but it seems they are only after Apple.
