O2 have announced the addition of two new HTC smartphones to its mobile offering. They’ve added both the HTC Desire and HTC Smart to their lineup.

The HTC Desire (pictured above) is a premium Android mobile that has a 3.7 inch touch-screen, 5 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus and is powered by a 1 Ghz Snapdragon mobile processor. It runs on Android 2.1, which is the latest version of the Googles operating system.

Our review of the HTC Desire concluded that “It is unparalleled when it comes to internet and social networking and is  very quick to learn. A real super phone.”

The second mobile, the HTC Smart, which brings smart phones to a lower price-point.

The HTC Smart runs on the Qualcomm Brew operating system, which enables the phone to launch at a significantly lower price point.  It features a 2.8 inch touch-screen , 3 mega-pixel camera , headphone socket, 256mb internal memory and runs on a 300 MHz mobile processor.

When you consider all this comes in at £100 you’ve got to say it’s a great deal.
