Dell Streak To Launch Exclusively on O2 In June
![]() |
O2 have confirmed that the Dell Streak will launch exclusively on their network at the start of June.
The Dell Streak is a mixture between a smart-phone and an internet tablet. It aims to offer the best of both worlds meaning it can browse the internet brilliantly as well as still making phone-calls.
In terms of specification it features a whopping 5 inch touch-screen which is great for displaying mutli-media content and internet browsing. It also features a 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash and microSD up to 32GB.
Like a lot of smart-phones it runs on the Android operating system. It’s powered by a 1 GHz mobile processor which ensures it’s quite speedy and supports 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Dell Streak seems to place itself between two solutions being neither as convenient as a phone nor as feature-packed as an iPad. It remains to be seen whether this position will offer something consumers want but it’s a good idea for Dell to try it out.
No details on prices or tariffs have been released so far.
