The Dell Streak, also known as the Dell Mini 5, will be launching in the UK exclusively on O2 in June.

The Streak is a competitor to the Apple iPad and with Dells experience in the PC and Laptop market it’s one Apple will be taking seriously.

The Dell Streak is much more “portable” than the iPad and features a 5.5 inch-screen as opposed to the iPad’s 9.7 inch screen. The screen runs at a resolution of 800*480 which is a perfectly suitable resolution for internet browsing and multi-media playback.

In terms of features the Streak has a 5 mega-pixel camera, Front-facing camera, WiFi and 3G support and multi-touch capability. It runs on an Intel Moorestone processor and will be available in a choice of colours.
