LG have undertaken a survey of Android App downloads and discovered a surprising fact. The most popular Android Apps being downloaded on LG smartphones are ones that save the downloader money. The LG survey confirmed that the average smartphone user spent £3.20p on Apps per month.

We hear at 3G.co.uk thought that the most popular Apps would be ones that create a fun time like gaming but no according to the LG Survey the most popular Android Apps are as follows :
1. Apps that save you money (25%)
2. Apps that save you time (9%)
3. Apps that help you stay physically and mentally fit (9%)
4. Apps that help you shop for dinner (8%)
5. Apps for gaming (6%)
Having seen the results of the LG survey above and taking into account that the Android Apps are being downloaded by smartphone users ( typically high end users ) and also the market conditions ( recession ) we can now understand why LG’s survey discovered the above interesting findings.
