3, the UK mobile operator, have been going through a process of re-branding of late.  They are trying to refresh their brand and make the brand more “human”.

 

The colours have all been stripped from logo and the website has a new cleaner and fresher look, which almost suggests a back to basics approach.

 

They have also produced a new TV ad campaign which plays on the underdog role 3 have in the mobile marketplace. The new advert is a pastiche that plays on old Hollywood classics. You can view the advert above, we think it’s rather novel.

 

As well as re-branding, 3 have also improved their network coverage from 92.5 per cent to 98 per cent.
