Sony Xperia Tablet Z - A Closer Look

Sony's Xperia Z is currently attracting a lot of attention in the media thanks to its stunning design and water-proof and dust-proof qualities. However, at the Mobile World Congress last month Sony unveiled the Sony Xperia Tablet Z.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a 10.1 inch tablet that incorporates the same stunning glossy design as the Xperia Z. Amazingly, like its smartphone brother it also incorporates IP57 certification meaning it's both water-proof and dust-resistant which is incredibly rare when it comes to tablets.

Sony will be hoping that the Xperia Tablet Z fairs better than the Sony Tablet S and Sony Tablet P. Both failed to captivate consumers and suffered from modest sales , but we've got a much better feeling about the Xperia Tablet Z !

Sony Xperia Tablet Z - A Closer Look

Sony have released a couple of new videos giving us a closer look at the Xperia Tablet Z. The first video, posted above, shows a selection of reactions from journalists at the unveiling of Sony's 10.1 inch tablet.

The reactions to Sony's Xperia Tablet Z were extremely positive with the tablet attracting praise for it's sexy design and how thin it is (just 6.9 mm). We have to agree and we're looking forward to getting our hands on Sony's tablet to review it.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z - Stunning Exmor R Camera

The second video, posted below, demonstrates the amazing HDR camera featured on the Xperia Tablet Z. The 8.1 mega-pixel Exmor R technology can take stunning HDR photos and videos delivering amazing colour and lighting no matter what the conditions. While, it also highlights the front-facing 2 mega-pixel snapper.

Sony's tablet also has a 10.1 inch Mobile Bravia 2 display running at a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and is powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor and has 2GB of RAM. While, it comes pre-loaded with Android Jelly Bean and even supports 4G LTE.

Sony will be launching the Xperia Tablet Z in the second quarter of 2013 , although at the current time we don't have any further details. It's expected to cost £330 for the 16GB model and £400 for the 32GB model and as soon as 3G hear more we'll let you know.
