A leaked image of the Sony Xperia SP has appeared online. The smartphone is expected to have a mid-range specification and adopt the same design as Sony's Xperia Z.
The Sony Xperia SP has appeared in a couple of leaks over the last month and now a leaked image of the smartphone has surfaced. Sony's smartphone is a mid-range mobile that adopts Sony's new design introduced by the Xperia Z.
We've posted the press render for you to checkout above and as you can see the Xperia SP looks like a smaller version of Sony's flagship smartphone. We presume it'll have the same all-glass design and waterproofing , while it's also evident it has the same power-button placement.
Previous leaks have given us details on the rumoured specification of Sony's Xperia SP. The mid-range smartphone is thought to have a 4.6 inch touch-screen that will run at a resolution of 1280 * 720 pixels (720p).
The Xperia SP will have a 1.7 Ghz Snapdragon processor and come with 8GB of on-board memory. Sony's mobile will also support microSD cards and come with an 8 mega-pixel snapper, while it'll run on Android Jelly Bean.
Sony are expected to unveil the Sony Xperia SP very soon and we'll bring you more news about the smartphone as soon as we hear more.
