Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Even Bigger & Controllable With Your Eyeballs

Samsung will unveil the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 later this year and fresh rumours about the phablet have now appeared online. We've reported on rumours on the Galaxy Note 3 in the past, but these give fresh insight into Samsung's device.

The Galaxy Note 3 will be the latest smartphone in Samsung's Galaxy Note which is expanding at a rapid rate. It all began with the original Galaxy Note which was the word's first smartphone/tablet hybrid that was then replaced by the Galaxy Note 2,

Galaxy Note 3 - Even Bigger With Eye-Tracking Technology

Fresh rumours suggest that the Galaxy Note 3 will feature a whopping 5.9 inch AMOLED touch-screen which is significantly larger than the Galaxy Note 2's 5.55 inch display (pictured above). Presumably, it'll run at a resolution of 1920 * 1080 pixels which would give it a 373 pixels-per-inch (PPI).

The same source also suggested that the Note 3 will incorporate the same "Eye-tracking" technology that's expected to be included on the Galaxy S4. That includes "Smart Scroll" which automatically scrolls the smartphones screen based on where your eyes are looking and "Smart Pause" which pauses video playback automatically when you look away from the display.

Previously, we heard that Samsung's smartphone would be powered by Samsung's new Exynos 5 octa-core processor which also features on the Galaxy S4. That'll provide more than enough grunt to power the Note 3's huge display , but we're worried about the devices battery life.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is also rumoured to have an 8 mega-pixel camera and will support 4G LTE. While, it'll come pre-loaded with Android Key Lime Pie and will include Samsung's S-Pen interface.

When will Samsung unveil the Galaxy Note 3 ?

Samsung are holding an “Unpacked” event on March 14^th where they’ll unveil the Galaxy S4. However, that’s probably too soon for the Galaxy Note 3 to be unveiled because the Note 2 only launched in September.

We expect Samsung to unveil the Note 3 in August before becoming available to buy in September. As soon as 3G hear more about the Galaxy Note 3 we’ll let you know.
