LG offically unveiled four new Optimus series smartphones at Mobile World Congress which were the LG Optimus G Pro, Optimus Vu, Optimus F and the Optimus LII.
LG have big plans for the smartphones above as they are key to LG achieving their predicted sales of over 10 million smartphone units for each quarter of 2013. The LG Optimus G and Optimus Vu are identified as flagship models targeting the 4G market whilst the Optimus F and L are more targeted towards the 3G and 4G mass market.
LG Optimus G Series – new markets and a new 4G handset
The LG Optimus G ( 4G version ) launched in September last year but was only initially available in a limited number of countries. However, LG has now announced its availability in over 50 countries. The full specification and all our articles relating the Optimus G can be viewed here.
A more significant announcement came with the formal launch of the LG Optimus G Pro which is also a 4G LTE smartphone and comes with a a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, dual recording capabilities and Virtual Reality Panorama. LG Optimus F Series — a new range of 4G LTE smartphones
LG has launched the Optimus F series of smartphones to specifically target the up and coming 4G smartphone market. The series currently has 2 models the Optimus F5 and the Optimus F7. Mor eon the Optimus F5 here and more on the Optimus F7 here.
LG Optimus Vu – a new phablet
If your looking for a 4G device that combines the viewing niceties of a tablet and the portability of a smartphone then the Optimus Vu may be for you. The Optimus Vu was officially announced at Mobile World Congress too, and comes with a 5-inch, 4:3 aspect ratio touch screen display display. There are currently two devices in the Vu range, one is an exclusive for the Korean market at the current time ( Vu 2 ).
LG Optimus LII Series — the latest 3G smartphone from LG
The LG Optimus LII builds on the success and image of the Optimus LI and spefically in terms of Laser Cut Contours, Seamless Layout, Radiant Rear Design and and a home button with Smart LED Lighting.
